This ring is comprised of all different kinds of web sites including fun & personal pet sites, breeders, golden rescue, informational, friends of the breed, etc; creating a diverse community of all aspects of the Golden Retriever.

Please read these simple webring rules before signing up!

    Your site must be PRIMARILY about Golden Retrievers. It can be your dog(s) personal site or a Golden Retriever informational site or both. Owners, rescues, clubs, breeders, trainers, etc; everyone is welcome to join.

    The Ring Of Gold webring logo graphic and webring links should be visible somewhere on your site! Preferably on the first page pertaining to your dog(s).
    If you put the webring on a 'webring' or 'links' page, then use that url to sign up instead of the main page.

    If we have to spend more than a few minutes clicking from page to page looking for the webring on your site, we will not expect our ring surfers to waste their time searching for it & will probably not add your site to the ring.
    Please make the webring easy to find for your visitors.

    Acceptance to the webring is at our discretion considering quality, content etc.; we reserve the right to not add any site to the ring. We also reserve the right to REMOVE any site from the webring that no longer meets the guidelines.

    Ready to join?

    First Step:

    Save a copy (to your hard drive) of the Ring Of Gold graphic logo you see below by right clicking your mouse and selecting "Save Image As". Do not link to this server.

    Next . . . fill out the form below & hit the "Add My Site!" button.
    You will now get your webring ID#. This will also put your site in the Ring Of Gold "Queue", where it will stay until you are added to the webring AFTER you have put the webring graphic & links on your site.

    Please note!  The Ring Of Gold webring links and graphic should be added to your site within 14 days. After 14 days your site will automatically be deleted from the queue and you will need to reregister if you still want to join the webring.  You're still welcome to join. You'll just need to sign up again. If you need help, please don't hesitate to ask!

    Before you hit the "Add My Site" button, make sure you have the correct URL for your site.

Don't forget your ID # or YOUR password! You'll need them when you add the HTML code to your site or if you wish to edit or remove your site at a later date.

Last Step

Once you have changed the source code to fit your ID# upload your page with the logo graphic to your server.

Then e-mail ringofgold and ask to be added to the ring.
Be sure to include your Site ID # in the e-mail message. Your site will be checked to make sure the Ring Of Gold webring graphic & HTML code on your site is done correctly.

If the webring is set up correctly your site will be added to the webring and you will receive an e-mail message telling you your site HAS been added.
